I love a pom pom and I think they make a super cute addition to many of my crochet projects!
I find that they finish off a crochet hat beautifully and can really take it to the next level!
I really enjoy making them too (I find them quite addictive!).

As a few of the patterns on the Maisie and Ruth blog include the addition of a pom pom, I’ve had many requests to show everyone exactly how I attach a pom pom to my hats.
IMPORTANT: If attaching a pom pom to a baby hat, make sure that you tie several knots and ensure that these knots are VERY TIGHT. Also, check the pom pom once in a while, especially after washes, to make sure that it has not loosened.
